AK Gas and Plumbing are all about supporting our loyal family of local customers. One way we do this is through giving back to our local community.
In 2018, AK Gas and Plumbing have chosen to support a number of local charities, but especially the Peninsula Power Football Club, with grounds at Kippa Ring and Clontarf, Queensland. The club has a variety of teams in the Men’s, Women’s and Junior’s divisions, meaning that they are incredibly valued as a part of the greater Peninsula community.
AK Gas and Plumbing’s recent sponsorship has already allowed for some excellent work with the Power, assisting them in continuing to facilitate a great sporting environment for players. Our sponsorship has helped provide new warm up jerseys for over 60 players across four teams, and keep registration fees down for local families.
We have also been able to provide new signage for the Peninsula Power at their home grounds at AJ Kelly Park, Kippa Ring and Dalton Park, Clontarf. These signs help encourage Power team spirit and give them a home ground advantage!
Moreover, the Men’s and Women’s Queensland Premier League (QPL) teams are continuously needing support and funding, in which AK Gas and Plumbing is delighted to help them this season.
Founder of AK Gas and Plumbing Cameron Anderson has been involved with Peninsula Power Football Club for a number of years, with his own sons playing for the club. “The club has been a big part of my family’s local community with three of our children playing there. Many of our customers are in the same area. AK Gas and Plumbing is dedicated to providing support and encouragement both financially and practically, and look after the customers who are a part of our growing family of local community members.”
