Supporting the Community
As a business, AK Gas and Plumbing cares about our community. To show our support we have developed a number of partnerships with local community organisations that offer both financial and practical support. We do this to show our commitment to the place where we and our families live, where our customers are located and where our business partnerships lie. We understand that without our customers and our community, we would not exist as a business. Therefore, supporting and investing back into our community is a priority for us! We wanted to take a moment to highlight the organisations we currently support and to encourage you to take a look at the good work they do. AK Gas and Plumbing currently supports the following community organisations:
- Peninsular Power Football Club –
Established in 2000, the Peninsula Power Football Club has mens, womens and junior teams, making it a valued member of the greater Peninsula community. AK Gas and Plumbing are proud to sponsor the club financially, allowing them to provide new equipment, fund ongoing weekly costs (such as referees and first aid officers) and hold community events. AK Gas and Plumbing owner, Cameron, and his family, are devoted supported of the club with his children playing for Peninsular Power Junior Teams. AK Gas and Plumbing financially support the West Brisbane Panthers Rugby League Club. Reforming in 2015, the club is still in its initial start-up phase and requires ongoing financial support from local businesses to provide equipment, ground maintenance and the clubhouse. AK Gas and Plumbing are proud to support a local community organisation that is contributing to a positive view of Rugby League in the greater west Brisbane region. Build the Future Youth Foundation are committed to encouraging local partnerships between youth and the community. This community lead foundation fosters the discovery and development of potential in each young person, through partnering with schools, local organisations, street outreach and other community services.
